The Meisner Technique emphasizes the importance of truthful acting on the stage and screen. Sanford Meisner, who became well known for his long list of famous acting students, defined acting as “the ability to live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.”
This showcase presents works from some of today’s top playwrights including Leslye Headland, Melissa James Gibson, Donald Margulies, Theresa Rebeck, and Kim Rosenstock.
